Annual selection of the new Pupil Leadership team is an exciting highlight of the Sunnyfields Primary School year. The rigorous election process begins with the crafting of election intents and manifestos, appointment of campaign managers and preparation of campaign posters and speeches followed by debates and questions in front of the whole school. Finally, votes are given by all pupils and carefully counted under the watchful eyes of the candidates, election monitors and an external election coordinator , the school auditor Mr. Ayodeji Oyinbo. Certificates of appreciation were bestowed on all the campaign managers and election monitors.
Great lessons learned on democratic processes. Our Sunnyfields pupils can certainly teach us what is true, fair and just. Bravo
